I was a dreadful guest this evening... I read half of this very fine graphic novel while my kind hostess was fixing dinner, and then the other half over tea afterwards. But she explicitly pointed me to the book, and she knows I love Benacquista, so I doubt she was surprised. It's a beautifully ambiguous moral fable, elegantly and economically presented.
